Early Years – Living with Pain

Born with a spinal disk condition and an additional L4–L5 problem, I lived with pain and movement limits through my teens. By 16 my back pain was constant and shaped every part of daily life.

Choosing Healing Over Surgery

When the pain worsened in 2012, doctors offered surgery or a plan to build back strength. I chose the non-surgical path, beginning slow Pilates sessions that gradually strengthened my spine and core and sparked my commitment to wellness.

Pilates & Mental Health Challenges

Encouraged by my instructor, I earned a Pilates certificate and explored TRX, Zumba, and Body Combat. Yet I faced heavy drinking, OCD, panic attacks, and dependence on tranquilizers. One night I tore a muscle attempting a front split, and my doctor advised stopping most sports—leaving yoga as my only safe practice.

Discovering Yoga's Power

Starting Iyengar yoga in 2016 gently healed my injury and calmed my mind. I soon explored Ashtanga and Vinyasa, growing stronger, more flexible, and mentally centered.

From Engineering to Yoga Teacher

While managing construction projects, I realized my true joy was sharing movement. In 2018 I traveled to Rishikesh, India for 200-hour teacher training, then returned to Iran to teach—growing from 3 to 60 students in a year. In 2019 I completed a 300-hour training in Kerala, deepening both practice and teaching skills.

Building Yogalates & Facing Change

Back in Tehran I opened my own studio and created Yogalates, blending yoga and Pilates. The studio thrived, but rising restrictions for women made daily life harder. By 2024 I chose to close the studio and seek freedom abroad.

New Beginnings in Stockholm

Arriving in Sweden meant a new language and culture, but yoga discipline taught me to trust the process. Within four months I began teaching at Nordic Wellness, and soon after at SSIF. Now I'm preparing to open a Stockholm studio focused on alignment and posture correction—continuing my journey with freedom and without fear.

Teaching Philosophy

"My teaching philosophy is rooted in respect for each student's journey. I believe classes should be structured by expertise so that everyone practices in a space suited to their level, free from comparison or pressure.

Adjustment is central to my approach, as yoga should adapt to the individual body rather than forcing the body into an ideal. I emphasize that yoga is not about constantly pushing limits but about showing up with mindfulness—because as long as you attend with presence, yoga is already working.

Through awareness in posture and presence on the mat, we nurture clarity, patience, and balance, which naturally extend into joy and a deeper sense of life beyond the practice."
